Za Questionnaire
The year you were put on this earth (thanks mom and dad!!):
1984
Where do you hail from?:
Melbourne, Australia
What pays the rent (and supports your powder habit??!):
Faking interest in guys to get more tips....... a hard honest day of work never goes astray.
I like:
Powder, powder and more powder, with a side of party, booze, dancing and powder.
I don't like (you're THAT picky?!):
Mushrooms, a bad attitude and guys who think they're hot, when they're really NOT.
Favorite food mmmmm:
Hmmm so so many yummy foods, but I can’t go past a good steak, creamy mash potato and vegies.
Favorite bevy:
Vodka sunrise always goes down well, but if I were Miss Powder Mountain then I would say "Whistler Beer"
Favorite place for apres:
I'd have to say Moe Joe's is up there on the list. The boys who run the place are super chill, good guys and what can I say, a little bit cute.........
My favourite run:
This is my first season in Whistler, but the word on the street is Million-dollar ridge and Christmas Tree's are a good way to start the day.
My favourite music to shred to:
Depends on the run and what I’m trying to achieve on that day.
Tree runs - nothing better than cruising down with a bit of Muse or Death Cab pumping.
Park - I have a "various album" on my ipod full of different hip hop and R&B artist, so good when you're wanting to get all fired up to pull a new trick or practice some oldies but goodies.
First run of the day (WAKE UP!!):
Check the weather and base my decision on that.
Last run of the day (cruuuuuisin down):
Love ending a sunny day of riding in the park.
Ski, snowboard, or AC/DC (snowboard and ski, chyea!):
Am experienced skier and boarder, but my true passion is boarding.
Snowboarding or skiing ability (newbie? or shredder extrordinaire??!):
Been riding for about 9 years, but in the last couple of years I've really picked up my game and been focusing on my park skills.
Why I should be Miss Powder Mountain in under 250 words (*ahem*!!):
I should be Miss Powder Mountain 09/10 because I live and breathe the snow. It gets my heart pumping, my stomach turning and puts goose bumps on my arms. Unless you have a true passion for the snow, there is no way you can understand the feeling riding brings, the pain in the heart when the season is over.
My motto in life is "treat others the way you want to be treated" and I live by the saying "Without love we perish"
Next to snowboarding, my other passion would be traveling the world. There are 195 recognized countries in the world and of that I traveled to roughly 25 of them. My family traveled a lot for work, which allowed me the great opportunity to see the world. As a result, I learnt very young that you need to be outgoing, approach people/situations head on and a good sense of humor don’t hurt. I want to board my way around the world, experience everything and anything the world has on offer, the people, the cultures, and good with the bad.
If I won Miss Powder Mountain, I would do my very best to ensure everyone had the time of their life, talked about their holiday and powder mountain for, days, weeks and years there after.
Make us laugh, let's hear a joke!:
What does a rubik's cube and a penis have in common?
They both get harder the longer you play with them.
Tell us three funny things you think you could get people to do at the party on December 3th at The Longhorn...be creative!:
1. Lap dance contest, cliché I know but always awesome to watch the inner dirty predator come out in people.
2. Play go tell her/him. (its more an all evening game, works best when ppl get drunk and forget they're playing, and then ppl just yell out go tell her) Have you ever been at a bar or just out and you and your buddies see a hot chick (or not so hot) and start talking about her. Rules are; basically if you comment about someone and don’t say "and I’d tell her/him" and your buddy says "go tell her" you have walk up the person in question and tell them what you've just said. One major rule tho, is you can not tell her/him you're playing the game.
3. Bachelorette Sale; get a female volunteer or two on stage. She can then say here name and a little about herself.
The guys then bid for the girl with drinks. For example, 4 drinks, counter bid, 7 drinks.
The winner will receive a public kiss.
